Set in breath-taking views of rice paddy fields just outside the heart of Ubud, Bali, our retreat offers the perfect space to nurture yourself surrounded by beauty and tranquillity. From the moment you arrive your eyes feast in the warm dappled sunshine amidst restful sounds of tall rustling reeds from the lush green natural surroundings. You will immediately feel your tension seep away.
Over the following days in this restorative setting, you will nourish your body, soul and mind with wholesome meals, mindful movement and inspiring interactive workshops led by expert guides. By the time you leave, you will feel rejuvenated, restored and empowered with new skills and knowledge in healthy eating, movement and positive thinking.

Twice a day, first as you wake to the sun-rising, and later as the sun sets, your guide Gwen will take you through your yoga practice and breath work. Throughout the day, you will enjoy the locally sourced, nutrient dense meals specially designed for the retreat.
Carefully curated morning workshops will take you through the pillars of health, how to have a daily home-yoga practice, stress and sleep management techniques, and a guided overnight fast to reset your body.
You will experience Bali’s Tri Hita Karana Philosophy “three causes of well-being” that describes being in harmony with self, the community/spirit and the environment. There is also an opportunity to tour the local markets and visit an organic farm where you learn to cook delicious organic vegetarian Balinese dishes as well as discovering the history of Balinese produce, its folklore and medicinal use, and its sustainable permaculture approach.
In taking you on this gastro adventure, we will be supporting a family farm dedicated to organic farming and self-sustenance.

Functional Nutrition is the application of targeted food and nutraceuticals to influence your current and future biological function (influencing gene expression).
With a focus on bringing the body and mind to their natural state — a state free of tension and restoration, you will be guided through morning vinyasa flows, evening restorative yoga, mindfulness meditation and pranayama sessions.
With Gwen’s strong anatomy and biomechanics foundations, continuing education and mindful yoga practice, her classes are a dynamic flow of mind-body movements synchronising with the breath, body control and postural alignment. She will also lead an interactive discussion on how to use breath-work, mindfulness and yoga as a modality to find a balanced mental and physical health.
